The Jesters for many years  have supported the Foundation of Life for children, run by the Good Shepherd Sisters  and Pattaya Sports Club have followed suit for the last 7 years.

 
The Good Shepherd order came to Thailand in 1965 and collect about 100 children from the slums of Pattaya. These are children who do not have documentation as regards their birth so cannot  attend school. They receive about 4 hours of education each day  and are also provided with food  from the  devoted staff.
The children, whose ages range from 3 – 7 years are picked up from various sites around Pattaya and the two pickups make two  trips morning and evening. The children are delighted to know they are off for a day at the centre but the staff establish some discipline by having the children clean their teeth and wash their hands after every meal.
The staff try to establish their identities to enable them to obtain a birth certificate thereby being able to attend school at a later date.
