2007/08 Executive Committee Members

As the PSC has grown so has its ability to be of assistance to the needy in the community with this years Charity donations totaling B 2,891,000. This is an increase of B1,000,000 on the previous year. Education is a priority and with the meeting voting in favour of a new Scholarship Scheme for Secondary School students this trend seems likely to continue.

The promotion of various sports including the supply of equipment to many schools is also a priority of the PSC.

The primary purpose of any AGM is to elect the officers to manage and guide the club for the next year and this was duly carried out. The new committee is pictured below.

A brief description of the PSC organisation.

Your club is managed by the "Executive Committee" which is elected at the Annual General Meeting (A.G.M.) held in June of each year.

The A.G.M. is attended by a group of members who are called the 'Elective Members'. This group totals 111 members.

The reason for the formation of the 'Elective Member' group is that it would be impractical to make a quorum from the total club membership.

To become an Elective Member the member must fulfill the residential and other requirements as laid down in the club regulations.
