An Interschool Sports Carnival held at the grounds of Wat Suttiwan School recently, was a huge success with over 30 local schools participating in many disciplines. The competitors in 4 different age groups numbered in the hundreds and events were spread over four days. Prior to the event Pattaya Sports Club were approached by the organizers to assist with supply of equipment. After some discussion it was decided that PSC would sponsor the Petong Event.With 4 age groups participating from many of the 30 Schools it would require at least 16 sets of Petong balls to have the Competition run smoothly. These supplies were duly purchased and handed over to the organizers who will keep them for future tournaments, as they are made of polished steel they should be in service for many years.
The cost of the equipment was B38,400 and this is a small part of our annual allocation for Sports Promotion.
