Bikes 4 Tykes Continues
	A programme started by Rick Bevington four years ago continues to grow. The concept is to reward children with a bicycle for community work or by being helpful in their school home or anywhere that good deeds are welcomed. Read more »
New Canteen for Pinjam School

A Little House in the Jungle
	The aptly named premises in a small Soi off Sunee Plaza is the initiative of the World Vision Group which is a Christian relief, development and advocacy organisation dedicated to working with children, families and communities to overcome poverty. Read more »

A Day out with the Disabled

Friday 10th of August started out ordinarily a few mundane chores then relax feet up good book etc, which was the plan until the phone rang. An hour later I am at Suttiwat School along with the YWCA ladies, members of the Volunteer Police, many people in Mattel T-Shirts officials of the Special Olympics Asia Pacific and other people in track suits carrying walkie -talkies and clipboards. The occasion was part of the Special Olympics Programme and six regional institutions were represented, they were from Chachongsao, Samat Prakhan, Bang Pakong, two from Rayong and Garunyawet [Pattaya].

Care 4 Kids Donation

One of the most hard working and prolific fund raising group in our community must surely be The Jesters Motor cycle Club. Each year their efforts centered around the Children’s Fair Pub Night and other activities raise several million Baht.

Takraw team sponsored by PSC

Pattaya Sports Clubs charter is to promote sport and support local charities,so the decision to sponsor a school team in a district competition fits nicely in that area. Pattaya District’s schools are conducting a Takraw tournament beginning in August that will involve teams of both boys and girls in four different age groups.

Water Worries over, PSC to the Rescue

Children have enough problems coping with school without having to worry about getting a drink of clean water.

City Hall Award goes to PSC Charity Chairman

On June 7th Pattaya City administrators recognized the contribution of local community service groups to the needy and under privileged in our area. It is the first occasion that such recognition has been displayed publicly and it is significant that Pattaya Sports Club was amongst the first group to be considered as worthy.

PSC Donates B600,000 To fund scholarships

YWCA Bangkok Pattaya branch. The first cheque for B 195,000 was to support 130 students enrolled in the Happy Families Scholarships, PSC has been a long time supporter of this programme which supports needy primary school students.

PSC. Helps out at Garunyawet

On Tuesday 24th April Khun Teera Khernwatch Director of the Garunayawet Home for the Disabled welcomed members of the Pattaya Sports Club to her institution. The occasion was for the presentation of goods donated by the club to help expand their very tight budget

Hospital Says Thanks

Many older members will have no problem identifying the handsome gentleman pictured above as he has been around town for longer than most. For the newer members that have not played golf from the Kronberg Café, ridden a Harley with the Jesters or tried to get into a PSC party without a ticket then they would not recognize Bjarne Nielsen.

PSC Blind School Donation

When the PSC Charity Chairman visited the Redemptionist Blind School some months back to offer assistance, Khun Aurora expressed an interest in a new computer programme recently acquired by the Adult Blind School in Bangkok .

Sports Gear for School Carnival

An Interschool Sports Carnival held at the grounds of Wat Suttiwan School recently, was a huge success with over 30 local schools participating in many disciplines. The competitors in 4 different age groups numbered in the hundreds and events were spread over four days.

PSC Scholarship Scheme

While it is well known that PSC supports many schoolchildren with scholarships [130 in fact] through the YWCA’s Happy Families project, what is not so well known is that PSC has recently introduced a new program for Secondary School students.

PSC Helping out at Local Youth Center

The Crossings is a drop in centre for troubled youth located behind Big C in the old Duck Square complex. Established by Manna House Missions they currently have facilities for Basketball, Table Tennis, and Skateboarding and were keen to establish basic Gym facilities.
