CITY HALL AWARD GOES TO PSC.

 CHARITY CHAIRMAN

        On June 7th Pattaya City administrators recognized the contribution of local community service groups to the needy and under privileged   in our area. It is the first occasion that such recognition has been displayed publicly and it is significant that Pattaya Sports Club was amongst the first group to be considered as worthy.  The award ceremony  was held in a conference room at City Hall where the Deputy Mayor Ronakit Ekasingh gave a lengthy speech outlining the importance of the  assistance given to the community and thanking the award recipients for their efforts on behalf of the less fortunate . He also indicated that this would not be the last such ceremony to be held as there were many others in the community deserving of recognition.

       After the awards [ 7 in all ] were presented  the group were photographed on the stairs outside City Hall and then returned inside for individual interviews.

While the actual award was presented to me personally I felt that I was only the conduit and the acceptance was on behalf of the Pattaya Sports Club. My efforts would not be significant if I did not get the backing of the committee the help from various individuals and the support of the membership in general. So many thanks to all.
